Terms and Conditions
It is the responsibility of all participants to make their way to the tour’s starting point and from the tour’s finishing point unless advised otherwise.
We include high-quality accommodations for all tours whenever possible.
It is required that all participants be in good health before and during the tour.
If you have any medical problems, you must inform us before the commencement of the tour.
It must be understood that we do not have any medical training and have no expertise as it pertains to medical emergencies. The tour vehicle carries a first-aid kit for minor injuries only. We accept no responsibility for medications or lack of access to medications. If you have any health problems or concerns, please consult your physician about medications or care that you’ll need while you are on the photo tour. If you have any serious medical conditions, we suggest you bring along a partner/caregiver who is well informed about your condition and who knows what to do in the event of an emergency.
Other tour participants accept no responsibility regarding the provision of medical care. Moreover, we do not accept any responsibility or liability regarding the provision of medication, medical care, or treatment.
We recommended that you have the appropriate insurance for this tour.
These include: health insurance, emergency medical evacuation insurance, emergency medical expense coverage, trip cancellation insurance, life insurance, baggage loss and delay reimbursement and equipment insurance.
Your tour fee includes tuition, modern transport, appropriate number of nights accommodation (see our Web site or contact us), park passes, permits, and ferry transport. Your tour fee does not include airfares, airport taxes, privately solicited transport to and from the tour starting point and end point, or items of a personal nature. Also not included are insurances needed for the tour, such as travel, accident, travel delay, baggage delay or theft (we recommend you organize the appropriate coverage well before coming on tour), medical or hospitalization costs.
To book a spot on this tour, you must make the required deposit or pay in full. Either of these methods will reserve your place on the tour. The deposit will secure your place on the tour and is NON-REFUNDABLE should you choose to cancel for any reason. The remaining balance is due three calendar months before the scheduled start date of the tour. If for some reason you have to cancel we will make every effort to fill your place. If we are able to fill your space, and we are able to do it at the same price, we will refund any monies that you have paid toward the trip, including the deposit. If someone fills your place at a discounted price, we will refund your fees, less the difference between the amount you paid and the amount paid by your replacement.
We reserve the right to cancel any tour before the starting date of the tour. We may cancel the tour based on a low number of participants or personal illness. In the event of a tour cancellation, all fees and deposits will be promptly refunded in full or may be transferred to another tour, if you choose this option, within twelve months of the previously-booked tour. This refund will be the limit of our liability. We are not responsible for any issues, expenses or damages that arise because of a tour’s cancellation.
LIMITATION OF OUR LIABILITY
This section defines our responsibility with respect to all of our tours. Please read it carefully:
We are not liable for any damages, losses, or expenses of whatever cause or nature, including those resulting directly or indirectly from acts of God, detention, annoyance, weather, quarantines, strikes, civil disturbance, theft or criminal activity of any kind, government regulations, or any other occurrences over which we have no control.
IN NO EVENT SHALL WE HAVE ANY LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, HOWEVER CHARACTERIZED.
We reserve the right to substitute hotels, workshop facilities, and to alter the itinerary when deemed necessary or advisable. We also reserve the right to cancel any tour or workshop before the start date. Once a refund of all payments has been made, we are released from all further liability (where applicable). We are not responsible for additional expenses incurred by trip members in preparing for the tour or workshop (i.e. non-refundable advance purchase air tickets, equipment, etc.). We reserve the right to decline acceptance or retention of any member of any trip should a person’s behavior impede the operation of the trip or the rights or welfare or enjoyment of other members on the trip; it is also agreed that no refunds will be given in such circumstances. We strive to provide a safe environment for all tour participants. There are always risks associated with travel, though. As such, we are not responsible or liable for injury, illness, or death as a result of your tour participation.
